A recent audit of Teton County School District #1 indicates the public school system is conducting fiscally responsible operations and is operating in the black. In an annual audit mandated by the state, Leo Riley and Associated reported to the board of trustees that the district saw revenues of 41.8 million dollars and expended 41.6 million dollars. Furthermore, the report indicated that the financial statements from the district were in compliance for the major federal award programs which help finance the educational needs of the community.
