Fall Clean-Up

by Jackson Hole. Media

TOJ-LogoJackson residents have the chance to clean up their yards and have the waste composted locally.

The Town and Teton County Integrated Solid Waste and Recycling announced Fall Clean-Up October 30th through November 1st with the common goal to encourage residents to divert yard waste from the trash stream so that it may be composted locally rather than hauled to the landfill.

Free compostable bags to collect yard waste are available at Town Hall and the Recycling Center and can be dropped off at the Rodeo Grounds between 9 and 4.

In addition, jack-o-lanterns can be dropped at the Rodeo Grounds on November 1st during the Great Pumpkin Round-Up.

Finally the Town has scheduled Burn Weeks for October 31 through November 8, 2015. Call 733-2331 to alert authorities before burning.
