The Jackson Police Department is informing residents of a “Candyland Circus” scam in order to be proactive locally as well as avoid potential Jackson victims.

A flier has surfaced throughout Jackson informing the public of a Candyland Circus taking place in Jackson at the Fairgrounds on Wednesday, June 22nd.  The flier goes on to mention that advanced tickets can be purchased by calling a number on the flier.   Credit cards are being accepted at this number.

Please note that there is no circus scheduled at the Fairgrounds for June 22nd.   Law enforcement would like as many people as possible to be aware of this scam, so please pass this information on to your friends and family and associates.

If you notice this flier, please report it promptly to law enforcement personnel.
