On Thursday, July 7, and Friday, July 8, drivers accessing the National Elk Refuge should expect delays at the entrance for road work, according to the Teton County Road and Levee Department.
Contractors will pave the gravel entrance of Elk Refuge Road at the intersection with Broadway. The short section slated for improvement stretches toward the Elk Refuge gate where the cattle guard is located. Traffic may be limited to one lane, and parking at the entrance may be restricted while the road surface is improved.
Teton County contracted with CM Owen Construction to conduct the asphalt work. Your cooperation and patience are greatly appreciated as Teton County strives to keep roads well maintained.
If you have any questions, please call Dave Gustafson, Teton County Road and Levee manager, at (307) 733-7190.
