Game and Fish seeks comments on proposed regulation changes related to license selling agents; licensing and raffles
The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is holding a public meeting next week in Cheyenne on proposed changes to Game and Fish Commission regulations. The meeting will address changes regarding Chapter 31, Regulation Governing Authorized License Selling Agents and Chapter 44, Regulation for Issuance of Licenses, Permits, Stamps, Tags, Preference Points, Competitive Raffle Chances and Coupons. These changes update both regulations. The proposal for Chapter 31, which impacts private businesses that sell licenses, also would reduce regulations per the Governor’s initiative.
The meeting is set for Jan. 8 at 5:30 p.m. at the Game and Fish Headquarters office in Cheyenne, 5400 Bishop Blvd. All interested persons, groups and agencies are invited to attend.
The Commission will take action on proposed changes to these regulations at their March 14-15, 2018 meeting, in Cody, Wyoming. In order for written comments to be reviewed by the Commission prior to the public hearing, they must be received by 5 p.m., February 5, 2018.
The draft regulation and ability to submit comments are available on the Game and Fish website or by mailing to:
