Art Association Anonymous Art Sale

by Jackson Hole. Media

On Friday, March 9th, the Art Association of Jackson Hole will host the 11th annual anonymous art show and sale Whodunnit? from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Theater Lobby at The Center. The event will feature special 18’ X 18’ canvases done by notable artists along with our traditional sizes of 6’ X 6’ and 12’ X 12’.

Showcasing new works of art donated by 200 local and regional artists, Whodunnit? is one of the Jackson Hole community’s favorite fundraising events. Artists have painted their creations on canvas, however, they have not identified themselves on their work. Attendees to the event may choose to sign their name to a list for the opportunity to purchase the canvas. Once the sheet is filled, a dice roll will determine the person who will be able to purchase the work. The cost for a 6’ X 6’ canvas is $99,  the 12’ X 12’ canvas sells for $299, and the 18’ X 18’ canvases will auction starting at $499.  You could walk away with a beautiful piece of art for an unbelievably low price! Proceeds benefit the Art Association’s art education program for youth and adults.

The Art Association is proud to feature artwork made by acclaimed artists such as Kathryn Turner, Anika Youcha, Carrie Wild, Mike Piggot, Greta Gretzinger, Katie Fox, Lee Riddell, Nicole Gaitan, Jina Kim, Kay Stratman, Claudia Bueno, Craig Spankie, Deb Fox, Craig Schwender, Shannon Troxler, Pamela Gibson and more!

The Art Association will be serving complimentary hors d’oeuvres and beverages. This event is generously sponsored by The Liquor Store and Snake River Brewing. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at the door. Kids under ten are free.
