Womentum invites the general public to a workshop on Wednesday, May 2nd, 5:30-7pm. Facilitated by Juliet Unfried, the workshop will focus on The Gift of Feedback: Shifting how we approach giving and receiving feedback.
In this experiential workshop, Unfried will review how quality feedback boosts professional development, discuss strategies for conducting meaningful feedback conversations, and explore ways to make feedback conversations more comfortable – even enjoyable – for both parties. “We’ll spend part of the workshop getting out of our heads and playing with physical communication postures. Participants will walk away with a heightened awareness of their preferred communication style along with tools for skillfully delivering and proactively seeking feedback,” says Unfried.
Unfried is a Leadership Coach with a master’s degree from Columbia University in Social-Organizational Psychology. She is a Gestalt-trained coach, completing her ICF certification this spring.
The Gift of Feedback will include facilitation, personal work, and small group exercises. Women of all ages are encouraged to attend, and light refreshments will be served. Cost of the workshop is $20. Scholarships are available. Registration is required and space is limited only twenty seats. Register today by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
