The Town of Jackson, Teton County, and the Wyoming Department of Transportation would like the community to review a Travel Demand Model for the Jackson Hole area they have built, with the assistance of Cambridge Systematics, an independent transportation consultancy firm. Initial data gathering began in October of 2017 and was followed by a public open house in December 2017 to present an overview of the process and solicit public feedback for the Transportation Advisory Committee, the project team, and Cambridge Systematics to inform the project. The model is designed to assess current and projected traffic volumes on local roadways, and it is intended to assist in long-term transportation infrastructure planning. Two public presentation sessions have been scheduled to demonstrate the completed project results to the public. Both are on January 30th; one is from 10:00 am until noon and the other from 5:00 – 7:00 pm, and both will be held in the County Commission Chambers in the Teton County Administration Building on Willow Street.
