Gasoline prices continue to fall in Jackson Hole while the national average remained steady. Amerine Woodyard of the Energy Information Administration in Washington D.C. says the national average for a gallon of unleaded regular gasoline has dropped another penny and is now just under $2.25 per gallon.
Pump prices were highest in the West Coast states at 2.91 a gallon, down 1.6 cents from a week ago. Prices were lowest in the Gulf Coast region at 1.93 a gallon, down 2.8 cents.
Closer to home, Gasbuddy reports Wyoming’s state average has again dropped 2¢from last week. The state average is now $2.32 for a gallon of unleaded regular, with the lowest price – $1.73 a gallon – found in Gillette. Here in Jackson, the prices were down 1¢from last week with the average of prices surveyed by Gasbuddy currently at $2.43 per gallon. Prices in the survey ranged from $2.31 to $2.76 a gallon.
