Gas Prices Rising In Jackson

Gasoline prices on the rise in Jackson Hole, reflecting the national trend. Amerine Woodyard of the Energy Information Administration in Washington D.C. says the national average for a gallon of unleaded regular gasoline has risen nearly 5¢to $2.47 per gallon.

Pump prices were highest in the West Coast states at 2.98 a gallon, up 3.3 cents from a week ago. Prices were lowest in the Gulf Coast region at 2.22 a gallon, up 3.6 cents.

Closer to home, Gasbuddy reports Wyoming’s state average has risen 2¢from last week. The state average is now $2.26 for a gallon of unleaded regular, with the lowest price – $1.99 a gallon – found in Evanston. Here in Jackson, the prices rose 7¢from last week with the average of prices surveyed by Gasbuddy currently at $2.35 per gallon. Prices in the survey ranged from $2.21 to $2.65 a gallon.
