Pet Safety Stressed For Fourth

by Jackson Hole Radio News

While most of us enjoy all the excitement that goes with celebrating the Fourth of July—the parades, the bands, the barbeques with scores of family and friends and of course the fireworks—it is not unusual for our pets and livestock to be stressed by the activity. Local veterinarian Dr. Stephanie  Ninnemann urges pet-owners to be sure they are put into an area where they can feel secure from all the noise and activity.

Dr. Ninnemann also recommends going through the yard and picking up any fallout from fireworks or trash from parties that could prove harmful to pets if they were to find them and consume them.
