If you live in Teton Valley, Idaho, this is Election Day.  Polls are open from 8:00 am until 8:00 pm.  Issues on the ballots there include town council seats in both Victor and Driggs, a Mayoral race in Driggs, a vacancy on the Teton County, Idaho Fire Protection District and a recall petition involving a school board member there.  Voters should show up at the polls with a picture ID.

Young Man From Victor Dies While On Mission

A 20-year-old man from Victor has died while serving an LDS mission in Mexico. Officials from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints said Colt Daniel Kunz died from injuries he received when he came in contact with a live electrical wire. He had been in the church’s Mexico Tampico Mission for only a month. Kunz was a 2012 graduate of Teton High School and a member of the state championship cross country team.
