Jackson Hole Speechies Dominate Meet

The Jackson Hole High School Speech and Debate Team is undefeated after eight competitions so far this year.  That eighth win came as Jackson won the Star Valley Invitational Speech Meet, hosted by Star Valley High School on Friday and Saturday. The squad ended the meet with 117 sweepstakes points, followed by 4A school Casper Kelly Walsh, with 84 points. Seven schools participated in the Star Valley meet. Jackson travels to Rawlins this weekend for their last regular season meet.

Jackson Hole Broncs played at home this weekend taking on the Mountain View Buffs on Friday and the Lyman Eagles on Saturday.  Both the girls and boys won their contests with Mountain view, the girls ending up with a 37 to 32 victory and the boys defeating the Buffs 58 to 49.  On Saturday, the girls beat the Eagles a heart-stopping 39 to 37 while the boys fell to the Eagles 67 to 52.
