White Pine Ski Area Ending Season

Operators of White Pine Ski Resort near Pinedale have announced that ski area will close at the end of skiing Saturday.  According to a posting on the resort’s website, the decision was made based on deteriorating snow conditions there.  Owners of the resort had hoped to be able to remain open yet another week.
