More Bison Sent To Slaughter

Yellowstone National Park has transferred another 17 bison to the Salish and Kootenai Tribes which will be taken to slaughter.  The Park is seeking to reduce the herd size in the park from an estimated 4400 to  approximately 3500 this year. The environmental group, the Buffalo Field Campaign, is decrying the action as being based in political reasons rather than science.
