GTNP Celebrates Pathway Completion
Grand Teton National Park will host a community event Thursday to dedicate the park’s Phase 2 pathway segment, connecting the Jackson Hole Community Pathway leg originating in Jackson. Several guests will participate in the event including Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood who will give the keynote address for the event. The celebration begins at 9:00 am at the old Moose Visitor Center across from the Craig Thomas Visitor Center in Moose. At the conclusion of the special event, participants will take a short ceremonial ride or walk along the new pathway from park headquarters to the Sleeping Indian turnout on Highway 26/89/191.
