Sage Grouse Discussions Here
The Upper Snake River Basin Sage Grouse Working group has announced plans to conduct their next meeting in Jackson next Tuesday. According to Mark Gocke, discussions will include reviewing the results of last spring’s lek survey, revisions under consideration to bring the local sage grouse conservation plan into compatibility with Governor Mead’s sage-grouse core area policy and hearing an update on sage-grouse issues at the Jackson Hole Airport. The meeting is open to the public and information about the group’s plans and agenda may be found at the Wyoming Game and Fish website.
