Those driving around Jackson Hole won’t miss the rapidly climbing gasoline prices on marquees in front of local service stations.  Analysts say tensions between Iran and Israel pushing crude oil prices to about $94 per barrel combined with recent incidents at American refineries have driven prices up and they aren’t likely to fall until October.  AAA Auto Club’s Fuel Gauge Report shows the national average now at $3.70 a gallon –31¢ higher than it was a month ago and 7¢ higher than last week.  Despite the recent spike, Wyoming’s prices remain among the lowest in the country with a statewide average of $3.50.  An average of prices surveyed by Motor Trend in Jackson Hole has risen to $3.54 per gallon of unleaded regular while the average of those surveyed in Teton Valley, Idaho $3.63.
