Schlinger

Teton County Library staff and library users bid farewell yesterday to storyteller and long-time children’s literacy advocate Debbie Schlinger.  Library Board President Lisa Delany praised Schlinger for having a profound effect on many Jackson children, both in the library and out in the community.  Schlinger is retiring after serving as the library’s Youth Programs Coordinator and working at the library since 1989.  During her time at the library, Schlinger also served as Vice President and then President of the Wyoming Library Association from 2003-2005.  Schlinger was honored at a gathering Thursday evening and was presented with a card signed by well-wishers.
