Aeronautics Commission Here Monday
The Wyoming Aeronautics Commission meets in Jackson Monday and Tuesday in conjunction with the Legislature’s Air Transportation Liaison Committee meeting. The seven Aeronautics Commission members appointed by the governor for six-year terms approve grants of state and federal money for airport construction, maintenance, improvements, marketing and air service enhancements. The commission also can make loans to Wyoming counties, cities, towns and joint powers boards for construction, development and improvement of airport facilities generating user fees. The Commission first conducts its business meeting Monday afternoon at Snow King Resort, followed Tuesday by the meeting of the Air Transportation Liaison Committee. Both meetings are open to the public.
