Jackson Chamber Names New Director
The Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce has named a new executive director effective September 17th. Jeff Golightly of Jackson was named to replace Tim O’Donoghue who resigned from the position in June, but continued to serve through the search for his successor. Golightly has been General Manager at Togwotee Mountain Lodge since 2000 with those duties expanded to District Manager in 2008. Golightly has most recently been serving on the Jackson Hole Travel and Tourism Joint Powers Board since 2010. Chamber Board Chairman Jim Waldrop says Golightly brings “an extremely high level of experience, skill and vision to the position” and he says he expects Golightly to be a dynamic advocate for business and tourism in his new position. A public reception to celebrate Golightly’s appointment is schedule to take place at the Wort Hotel Wednesday at 5:30 pm. Chamber officials say altogether, nearly 60 resumes were reviewed over the past six weeks in the search for a new executive director.
