Legislators Meet Here Discussing Travel
The Joint Travel, Recreation, Wildlife and Cultural Resources Interim Committee of the Wyoming State Legislature meets in Jackson for two days beginning tomorrow. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the department of tourism advertising and marketing update and tourism product development under the master plan. The committee will also consider Department of State Parks & Cultural Resources funding, trails program, search and rescue funding, snowmobile trails funding, site criteria process and the monuments and markers programs well as Game and Fish Department long term and short term funding needs. A tentative agenda for the meeting is available on line, and the meetings begin at 8:00 am in the Teton County Commission Chambers Wednesday and Town Council Chambers Thursday.
