Wyoming Markets Fall Season

fall color

If you look closely, there is a change of season in the air – and the Wyoming Travel Commission is marketing the months to come as well.  Travel Commission Director Dianne Shober says the state is promoting a visit during the cooler months of autumn.  Shober says it appears Wyoming had a great summer around the state and the people she has visited with in Jackson are quite optimistic.  She says the travel commission office is now running advertising through the end of September pushing fall visitation.  Shober says the promotions are utilizing the same adjacent markets that were targeted during the summertime.  They include Rapid City, South Dakota; Bozeman and Butte, Montana; Pocatello and Idaho Falls, Idaho; Salt Lake City, Utah; and Denver, Colorado where the state is running ads on television, newspaper and online. Shober says the fall is a great time to visit sites around Wyoming, not only because of the cooler temperatures, but the colors and the abundant wildlife that can be seen now as well.
