Swinging Bridge Closure Planned

The Teton County Road and Levee Department plans a temporary closure of the Swinging Bridge at 8:30 am on Tuesday.  That bridge crosses the Snake River south of Evans Trailer Court.  Highway officials say the closure will allow Wyoming Department of Transportation to conduct its annual bridge inspection.  That work includes inspection of the bridge structure, deck, pins and spans.  The bridge will remain closed for approximately five hours.  Residents who normally use that bridge will have to access the area from the intersection near Horse Creek.
