New School Offices?
Teton County School District could be in for nearly $2-million dollars in special one-time funding from the state legislature if a request made by the school board is honored. Representative Keith Gingery says the request was made Monday night in order to fund a central administration building. Currently, the administration is leasing a building in downtown Jackson from Teton Housing Authority. The requested funds would come from capital construction account of the school foundation program which is to be considered as a supplemental request being considered under House Bill One. At the outset, Gingery says there has appeared to be no opposition to the request.
