Fire Officials Meet With Buffalo Valley Residents
Interagency fire officials have announced plans to meet with members of the Buffalo Valley community tonight to provide them with an update on the status of the North Buffalo Fire, outline fire management strategies and answer questions. The fire, which began Friday in the Teton Wilderness just north of Buffalo Valley has grown now to 8539 acres and continues to burn in mixed conifer and grass and a fair amount of beetle-killed trees. As yet, no cause for the fire has been determined. The public meeting is scheduled to begin at 7:00 pm in the Moran Fire Station.
