OB 2012

With the approach of Old Bill’s Fun Run For Charities on Saturday, more than 40 Co-Challengers have joined Mr. and Mrs. Old Bill pledging a record-breaking amount of matching funds – $2,280,000 to date. Old Bill’s Fun Run will take place on the Town Square Saturday beginning at 10:00 am, and participants are encouraged to stay for entertainment and yogurt parfaits provided by the Bunnery.  In addition to the change in the menu this year is a new shirt style.  Runners and walkers will appreciate the performance material, which includes 50% recycled content. For the third year, the Foundation will serve water in compostable cornstarch cups, eliminating approximately 5,100 plastic water bottles; and further encourages participants to bring their own water containers which may be easily filled at a number of locations.  START Bus shuttle service is also available to and from the event, running between Albertson’s and the corner of Cache and Pearl, running into town from 8:30 am and 1:00 pm and out again from 11:00 am and 1:00 pm.  Those who have not yet made a donation to their favorite beneficiary may do so through Friday, September 14th.
