GTNP Park Facilities Closing

Even as temperatures are dropping and a hint of color is beginning to appear in trees around the region, changes for the season are also showing up at facilities in Grand Teton National Park.  Already, the Lizard Creek Campground and the Flagg Ranch Information Station have closed for the season.  The Jenny Lake Ranger Station closes at the end of the day Sunday while the remainder of the campgrounds except for Gros Ventre and Signal Mountain campgounds will close by the end of the month.  The Laurance Rockefeller Preserve Center and Jenny Lake Visitor Center will close September 23rd.  Specifics for the closures are available in the park’s newspaper.
