Mead Offers Help In Fire Fight

Governor Matt Mead has activated the Wyoming National Guard to assist in fighting a wildfire that has forced hundreds of families from their homes near Casper. Governor Mead is also working closely to assist Teton County with the fire burning just south of town.  Mead says he extends his gratitude to the firefighters battling these two blazes and the people of Wyoming who continue to respond and support those in need.  Mead has sent a member of the Wyoming National Guard to Jackson to assist the Teton County Emergency Management team and be on hand if further assistance from the state is needed.
