Schweitzer Says Enough Is Enough

Fed up with the inaction of the Interior Department in dealing with the listing of wolves in the Rocky Mountain States, Montana Governor Brian Schweitzer informed Interior Secretary Ken Salazar he was ordering the state Fish Wildlife and Parks wardens to stop prosecuting anyone protecting their livestock.  Schweitzer said he was further ordering that department to destroy total wolf packs that kill livestock.  Additionally, Schweitzer ordered culling of wolf packs in the Bitterroot Valley in order to protect elk herds there.
