Afghan Delegation In Jackson Hole
A 7-member Afghan delegation arrived in Jackson yesterday, hosted by the Wyoming Council for International Visitors. The group was invited to the United States through the U.S. State Department to meet with political community leaders, students and business leaders to discuss the National, State and Local Politics in the U. S. The occasion also offers the community a rare opportunity to engage in conversation about the state of Afghanistan with the people who are working directly on the issues in their own country and to learn first-person about peace and conflict in that country, and to exchange ideas and inspiration. The visit will culminate with a luncheon Monday for anyone interested.
