Firefighting activities today are focusing on the southern perimeter of the Little Horsethief Canyon Fire and protecting the residences in Game Creek.  Teton County Emergency Management, says there will be fire engines, firefighters, and a bulldozer in that area throughout the day today.  County officials stress that there are still no evacuation advisories or orders in the Game Creek or any other area of the county at this time.   However, the ask residents to use caution and drive slowly near emergency responders and vehicles.  Meanwhile, with 651 people fighting the fire, about 41% of the 3353-acre blaze has been contained.   Firefighting resources include nine helicopters, 16 hand crews, 43 fire engines three bulldozers and several air tankers.  So far,$3 3.4-million dollars has been spent fighting the week-old fire.  Fire danger is still considered very high throughout the region and restrictions on open burning remain in effect.
