Joint Powers Appointment Sought

The Jackson Hole Travel and Tourism Joint Powers Board is seeking someone to replace Jeff Golightly on the panel after Golightly resigned to accept his new position as Executive Director of the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce.    Those seeking appointment to the board should have extensive experience at the executive level in Jackson Hole destination resort strategic and tactical marketing and sales, several years’ experience in shoulder season and winter promotion and promotion of special events, in-depth experience in recreational, arts, cultural, ecotourism and trends in the fields, and extensive knowledge of the community – to name some of the attributes being sought.  The lodging tax board administrates how the promotional money gained through two-cent sales tax is spent. Applications are being sought through the afternoon of October third and interviews of candidates will take place during the week of October 8th or 15th.  The appointment will be shortly after the interviews are completed.
