The man who made the final call on locating Modern Family’s season premiere last year in Jackson Hole was awarded an Emmy last night for best directing of an episode in a comedy series.  That show aired five times during the course of the season drawing an average of 15-million viewers each time.  Modern family went on to win awards for Outstanding Comedy Series, Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series and Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.  Last week, the show was cited for outstanding sound mixing during the Jackson Hole episode.  Sources close to the show say the cast and crew still frequently talk fondly of their Jackson Hole Shoot over a year ago while tourism interest say the effects of the episode’s airing are still being felt.
