Speeds Set For Subdivisions
Drivers through Wyoming’s subdivisions will have to face state traffic laws under a Senate bill passed by the House of Representatives as well this week. Representative Keith Gingery explains that the bill sets a maximum speed limit for those subdivisions and authorizes the local sheriff’s departments to enforce traffic laws in those areas. Gingery says he has received phone calls from residents in some of the local subdivisions complaining that there was no enforcement of speeds in those subdivisions, and this bill will address those concerns. It is currently on its way to the governor to be signed into law.
