A 36-year-old Burns, Oregon man died yesterday when the tractor trailer he was driving went out of control while descending Teton Pass about 5:30 pm and overturned on the west side of Wilson, blocking both lanes of Fall Creek Road.  The truck, carrying car-crushing equipment was bound from Oregon to Shoshone, Wyoming when its bakes apparently failed and it crashed through the guardrail across the highway from the Stagecoach Bar.  Teton County Assistant Coroner Dave Hodges the truck’s sole occupant, Jay Winn was pronounced dead at the scene.  Emergency Management officials say the bike path from east of the Stage Coach Bar, through the tunnel to the base of Teton Pass has been severely damaged and remains closed.  The accident is being investigated by the Wyoming Highway Patrol and details are not immediately available.
