Yellowstone Fire Danger Reduced
Yellowstone National Park Friday joined Grand Teton National Park, Bridger-Teton National Forest and Teton County in reducing the fire danger rating to “very high” following a week of weather that brought a little more moisture to the area. However, unlike their neighbors to the south, Yellowstone does NOT have any fire restrictions in place. Currently there are four wildfires within Yellowstone, only one of which is still active – the Cygnet Fire southeast of Norris Junction currently involves 2835 acres.
