Where’s The Money?
Even though Wyoming Governor Matt Mead is signing the Grand Teton National Park Transfer of State Lands bill today, that transaction is apparently still not in the clear. US Senator Mike Enzi says approval of the purchase still must come from the US Legislature at a time that allocations are being cut from the federal budget. Interestingly, debate in the Wyoming Senate included references to how the sale would relate to efforts by the US Legislature to economize on the federal budget. Now, once the bill is signed by Mead, it will set the debate into motion in the Washington theater
