County Entertains Bids
Teton County’s, Integrated Solid Waste and Recycling Department is looking to buy a new fork lift for the recycling center. Consequently, bids are being solicited from equipment vendors. The department wants to replace its propane-powered fork lift with a new sit-down rider, pneumatic, electric forklift, with charging unit. Bids to supply the new machine should include all related charges and fees for equipment delivered and operational at the county’s recycling facility at Adams Canyon. A bid alternate may be submitted for trade-in value on the propane-powered that has a 5950 lb. capacity, a heated cab and fork rotator. The used machine has been used for approximately 8600 hours. Specific requirements desired for the new machine may be obtained from Kent Jasperson, at P.O. Box 9088, Jackson, WY 83002. Bids must be received in a sealed envelope by 3:00pm, October 12th and include a completed Bid Form available from the Integrated Solid Waste and Recycling Department.
