Rock Creek Fire Controlled
Fire Crews working the Rock Creek Fire near Red Top Meadows have now fully controlled the fire. Bridger Teton National Forest Spokesperson Mary Cernicek says due to the swift action of Teton Interagency Firefighters and Jackson Hole Fire/EMS, the fire was held to 33 acres and contained by the end of the day Sunday. Firefighters then doused hot spots, declared the fire controlled yesterday and began demobilization. There is still no word on the cause of the fire.
