Lieutenant Tom Kelly of Wyoming Highway Patrol has confirmed that investigations found the failure of the brakes that led to the runaway of a tractor-trailer Sunday night and it’s fatal crash on the west side of Wilson was due to the truck being overweight.  In an official news release, the Patrol says the truck failed to negotiate the left hand curve at the town limits where it collided with and went through the guardrail.  The truck continued down an embankment, rolling 1 ¼ times and coming to rest on its side.  36-year-old Jay Winn of Hines, Oregon died of injuries sustained in the accident despite wearing his seatbelt.
