Remember Cloudveil, the Jackson-based clothing manufacturer that produced very popular outwear for winter activity?  After it was sold, the company purchasing the company moved it out of Jackson discontinued the line.  However, like a phoenix rising from its ashes, a new company emerged last month in Jackson, started by Cloudveil founder Stephen Sullivan who is now offering a collection of man’s women’s, and children’s apparel under the banner of Stio augmented by third-party brands.  On the new company’s website, Sullivan calls the line up, “products you can live in.”  The company’s new Jackson store celebrates its grand opening beginning today, and the new company’s products are available online from anywhere.  The company already employs eight local workers to help sell products directly to customers rather than through a wholesaler serving other retail stores.
