Hunter Finds His Own Way Back
An unidentified hunter found his way out of the Gunsite Pass area of Bridger Teton National Forest after he apparently became disoriented late Saturday night. Members of Teton County Search and Rescue launched a search in the Gros Ventre drainage through the morning, until the hunter showed up again at the hunting camp. Search and Rescue Coordinator Doug Meyer says the hunter apparently followed a “two track” trail north to the Blackrock ranger station and took a cab back to the camp – arriving about 1:30 pm.
