With the end of the summer season, Teton County’s unemployment rate began inching its way back up again; increasing 3-tenths of a percent in September to 4.4%.  According to the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services, that runs counter to the trend statewide where the jobless rate dropped by as much to an average of 5.7% between the 23 counties.  Still, September’s unemployment rate in Teton County was appreciably down from the 5.4% jobless rate recorded in September of 2011. The lowest rate last month was again found in Sublette County where 3% of the workforce was idle followed by Niobrara County at 3.2%.
