Wolf Bill Leaves Wyoming Out
Is Wyoming being snubbed by the federal government again? A bill pending in the US Senate seeks to resolve the wolf delisting issue in Montana and Idaho, but not Wyoming. Senator Mike Enzi says the bill was passed by the House and he hopes to see the discrepancy corrected in the Senate. Enzi says Representative Cynthia Lummis tried to address the inequity in the House, but a point of parliamentary procedure blocked her efforts there. Enzi recalls that the Senate nearly had the issue addressed in Wyoming’s favor last year, but it failed by a vote that was never cast.
