Winter Parking Restrictions Begin
Tomorrow is November first which is the first day winter parking restrictions begin in Jackson. Each year between November first and April 15th, parking on public streets is prohibited from 3:00 am until 7:00 am for winter street maintenance. This restriction is enforced regardless of weather conditions. Vehicles found on the street in violation of the winter restriction may be either cited or cited and towed. Vehicle owners receiving just the citation will have to pay a fine of $70 while those who also have had their vehicles towed will owe an addition $85 for the expense of towing.
