The Jackson Hole High School Speech and Debate Team started its regular season with a first place 3A finish at the Tiger Classic Invitational, held at Rock Springs High School over the weekend. Jackson earned 77 sweepstakes points, while second place Cody scored 44 points and third place Star Valley finished with 43 points.   10 schools competed at the meet. Speech Coach Londe Gagnon called the finish “an impressive start for the team.”  She points out the Jackson lost 13 seniors to graduation last year, and to see this talent emerge so early in the season is a delightful surprise.
