Town & County Seek New Board Members

Teton County together with the town of Jackson are seeking individuals to serve on a variety of volunteer boards.  Altogether, there will be 26 such openings when terms expire in December and January.  Among them are positions on the administrative museum board, the airport board, the Alta solid waste disposal board, the board of health, the historic preservation board , the housing authority, the integrated solid waste and recycling advisory board, the natural resources advisory board, the park and recreation board, the pathways task-force, the planning commission and the START board.  Thos wishing to be considered for any of the upcoming vacancies should file an application with the Teton County Clerk and then participate in an interview with both the Teton County Commission and the Town Council.  Deadline for application is November 27.
