The Idaho State Police are reporting a three-vehicle accident on Pine Creek Pass, just north of Swan Valley Saturday left three people including a Jackson man hospitalized with injuries they sustained in the crash. According to the report, 24-year-old Jamie Krupinski of Jackson, Wyoming was southbound on State Highway 31 when he lost control on the ice-covered road and crossed the center line into oncoming traffic. Police say he collided with a pick-up truck driven by 32-year-old Michael Robinson of Idaho Falls. A third driver, 24-year-old Kelly Muir of Franklin, Idaho was behind Robinson and swerved left to avoid the collision in front of him, subsequently hitting a road sign. Two passengers from Robinson’s vehicle were transported by ground ambulance to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Krupinski was transported by Swan Valley EMS to Teton Valley Hospital in Driggs. Officers from Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office, and Teton County, Idaho Sheriff’s Office responded to assist at the scene as well.
