Idaho Grants Driggs $30,000
The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality announced Tuesday they had awarded a drinking water planning grant in the amount of $30,000 to the city of Driggs to prepare a drinking water system facility planning study and environmental information document. The purpose of the project is to evaluate problems with leakage, distribution lines and flows, to plan for future growth, and to develop alternative plans for needed improvements. State officials say the total eligible cost of the project is $60,000, and the remaining $30,000 is to be funded by the city of Driggs itself.
